Overall, what I can recalled of the lessons with Prof are full of excitements, being awed and discovering one self’s capabilities to become creative beyond our own acknowledgement. The adventures are simply recorded in the corner of my mind as I wrote below.
Day 1
At the beginning, knowing his name has turned me perplexed. I was guessing that maybe he was born creative; his name was also given to him by a creative father. Later, I learned that the story was so different from what I imagined. It is too personal I think it is not appropriate to record it here. And the best thing is that I came to learned that Prof is very experience person and we should be grateful that we were given an opportunity to meet such person.
The first task that he asked us to do is to just jot down whatever innovative idea that we had in mind without thinking whether it is possible. All ‘crazy’ and very unexpected ideas were presented. Interestingly, some of our ideas are not far from what was invented. Sadly, the innovative products are not very popular in the market simply because it is too weird and not sense that people could not accept it in the market. So, it dies or at least became non-marketable.

The point is that no matter how weird your ideas are, you will have to have faith in yourself. And this is where most people had a problem with. You see, not many people had faith in Colonel Sounder’s recipe in the first place, and so did the case of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter. They are now known because of their innovative ideas. So what actually make us different to those people are that our self confidence and inner faith.
That is why there was a session that Prof Barjoyai had on Neuro-linguistic Programming(NLP), to prove to us that if we have inner faith and have our sub-conscious mind to focus on our faith, we can do whatever we’re thinking of. The task is unbelievaWe were asked to stab raw potatoes by using a straw. Non-sense but actually some of us nailed it. But me? I am still figuring how, but to start doing it I think it is such a waste on food. I’ll try to figure out when to do that later. That will definitely be in my new year’s wish list.
to be continued..
