Integrity

Remember my previous post on ‘Conducting Effective Meeting”? There is something always mentioned by Prof Khir that lingers in my mind and it’s getting stronger each day now. He kept reminding us about being ‘amanah’ or in English I think the best term is integrity.

Being so sleepy in his class, there was some point I can’t control my eyes. And I believed he actually saw me during my ‘eyes-closing’ because I did notice that when I opened my eyes, he gave me a little glance that is the same with Mr. Goh, my physic teacher back in secondary school.
But something he said later had hit me in the heart it gave an impact that still I could not forget till today. His reminder is no stranger to me, it was mentioned again and again back during university. At that time, I was also sponsored to study. And each time the issue of money is being raised again and again, I could not help but instill that principle of being ‘amanah’ with my allowences to the end of my studies period.

And I am very grateful again that it was Prof Khir that has reminded me. Yeah, every human being needs constant reminder from God so that we are not astray. Maybe I was called to write on the subject because most of us now are anticipating the promised Rm1000 allowances per month that was allocated for each trainee. I hope that with this small reminder, all of us is being true to himself, as a matter of fact, Allah do knows who is. For each amount of money that was trusted to us, for each food that we bought with the money, and from which it becomes apart of our own body. We will sure enough are going to be questioned one day. And it is the day of Resurrection.

Alhamdulillah, in each prayer we were told to recite
‘Guide us to the right path,The path of those whom Thou hast favoured, Not the path of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray’ (Al-fatihah:4-5)

And again Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to write this
and for you to be reminded. =)
